  • Overview

    The IT Infrastructure Project Manager proactively manages day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects, including client interaction and expectations. The projects in this role will be focused on IT Infrastructure. The role will serve as Project Manager and Account Manager of both major and minor projects for the Infrastructure team.  This person will be expected to act as an effective liaison between client stakeholders in the business and application development teams to align Infrastructure resources and capabilities to meet the internal/client project needs. This person will report to the Director of IT Infrastructure and serve as an integral part of the team.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain the project management plan, including configuration management, risk management, issue management, and communication plans.
    • Project portfolio management responsibilities of driving projects from business case preparation, including ROI, to delivery and transition to support organizations.
    • Plan, coordinate and supervise the build, test, and implementation tasks related to Infrastructure projects; leading cross-functional teams to successfully drive projects to completion.
    • Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, at a level of quality consistent with constituent expectations.
    • Effectively communicate project expectations to project resources and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • PMP Certified
    • 5-10 years of experience
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
    • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Able to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including management and clients.
