Pier 1 is looking for a Digital and Print Designer to join our marketing team! In this role the Designer will concept and execute omni-channel marketing projects with an emphasis on Emails, Website, Editorials, Video, Print, and Social Advertising.
Duties & Responsibilities
Concepts, designs and produces online and print content, including emails, website, editorials & print related materials. This will include working closely with the Senior Art Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Ecommerce, Production team, Email and Social business partners.
Generate, edit and maintain daily content and digital advertising campaigns (text, images, video and possible html) that builds a connection with non and current customers. Must have ability to wire frame out solutions with strong layout and typography skills.
Good communication skills in order to work closely with other members of the marketing department beyond online, signage and print.
Ability to manage & prioritize projects while paying close attention to detail and designing to Brand guidelines.
Education & Experience
Four - Year College Degree preferred
1 - 3 years relevant experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac environment including: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Demonstrates photo art direction skills & rough layout drawing
Digital experience necessary Knowledge of type design and page layout best practices
