The primary purpose of the Office Clerk is to provide administrative support to assigned department(s) within the Pier 1 Distribution Center. To ensure all functions are performed properly while embracing change, driving efficiencies and executing flawlessly.

Must be very organized and have the ability to prioritize work
Working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
Must be able to analyze information and use appropriate judgment, to achieve expected results.
Must possess good verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
Adheres to Pier 1 policies as defined in DC Associate Handbook including the Code of Conduct.
Regular on-time attendance.
Ability to sit for prolonged period of time
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
Ability to reach, bend, or stoop if necessary
Ability to work 40 hours per week.
Ability to work overtime and varied schedules, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
Any other tasks as assigned
High school Diploma, GED or Vocational Training
1-3 Years experience
General PC proficiency and demonstrated skills in MS Word and Excel are required
