Overview

Program Manager will support the organization by successfully implementing large solutions from an IT and business perspective. This role will support our Product Managers and Delivery Partners in identifying and prioritizing scope, delivery of the solution with a focus of communication to all stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Release Management teams to deliver large initiatives spanning 10+ working teams.
  • Participate in Pre- and Post PI Planning to support Product Managers and Delivery Partners in the scoping and delivery of large initiatives.
  • Oversees a solution’s schedule, scoping and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program.
  • Responsible for Executive communication and Steering Committee/Operations Committee coordination
  • Responsible for stakeholder management internal and external to the organization.
  • Manages the change management process, with communication to Delivery Partners, Product Managers, Executive team and other initiative stakeholders.
  • Supports the management of a $1MM+ budget and priority alignment to the corporate roadmap
  • Addresses program issues by identifying and selecting a course of action in order to enable continued program progress.
  • Motivates the Product Managers and Delivery Partners to increase commitment to the solution’s objectives.
  • Establishes alliances with other departments and organizations by recognizing dependencies to ensure the ultimate success of the program.
  • Captures program status for the use of stakeholders.

Education & Experience

  • Position requires at least 7 years of direct experience and a BA/BS degree in IS or Business. 
  • Relevant retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum master experience
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Leading SAFe certification, plus.
  • Epic implementation experience strongly preferred.
