Responsible for supporting the day-to-day management, merchandising and revenue growth of with an emphasis on site productivity, sales growth and conversion. The Associate Site Merchandiser supports the Site Merchandisers in the planning and execution of online merchandising strategies including the SKU Lifecycle process, product placement, copy and content needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and help maintain the online merchandising strategies to drive sales, conversion rate and overall profitability for the site. Utilize relevant reporting and analysis to communicate online business trends and SKU level performance. Conduct and provide regular competitive analysis to identify best practices and recommend action steps. 
  • Coordinate with various teams to gain a full understanding of all content (email, social, display, search, digital integrations, etc.) potentially driving traffic back to Merchandise landing pages in a manner that supports key business priorities while keeping profitability of the ecommerce channel top of mind. Assist in the development of strategic content plans to support the marketing events, as well as the category structure. Support the Site Merchandisers in ensuring that all skus and categories are prepared for event launches.
  • Effectively partner with SEO team to positively effect conversion rate and sales through search results. Review customer search behavior within to gain an understanding of keyword queries and manipulate the products within the search results page in a manner that drives overall profitability for the ecommerce channel. 
  • Become an integral member of the merchandising group with an awareness of all merchandise strategies and plans.  Provide feedback to be shared with the merchandising teams on learnings and actions to drive revenue.
  • Participates in various meetings to understand business plans, product assortments, and key initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 1+ year of relevant experience 
  • Previous experience with eCommerce merchandising preferred.
  • High attention to detail, process oriented, strong project management, analytical, problem solving and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Excel, Omniture. Familiar with Content Management systems (Demandware experience a plus).
