Pier 1 Imports is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to help ensure a safe, quality work environment by offering outstanding customer service for over 800 home office associates. Functions specifically include property coordination, space planning, and building access management. Other duties include meeting and event setup, as well as communication of information relevant to the associate population.
Property Coordination - Respond to associate housekeeping, maintenance and service requests. Act as liaison with landlord to manage building repair and maintenance issues. Assist with the implementation of construction projects. Perform light housekeeping and maintenance as necessary. Regular upkeep of building amenities - Fitness Center, Parking Garage, Bream Rooms, Meeting rooms
Space planning - Facilitate office furniture service adjustments by evaluating associate requests for workspace improvements and decorations. Coordinate and perform minor associate relocation projects. Coordinate and assist with execution of major associate relocations projects. Set up work space for new hires, i.e.; chairs, waste baskets, etc. Coordinate service work as needed.
Administration Duties - Ensure PCI compliance (includes providing self-expiring visitor badges, creation of badges for Associates, Temporary associates contractors and vendors, evaluation and approval of building access requests). Manage associate information, updates and changes, such as parking registration and seating locations.
Conduct weekly new hire tour of the facility. Assist with the preparation of communications as appropriate for home office associates. Authorize and schedule Pier 1 associates, contractors and vendors after-hours entry requests. Assist with special security/safety projects and investigations. Schedule and assist with special event setup.
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis, climb a ladder and operate a vacuum.
